Bharata Mata or Mother India is India's traditional name. It is derived from "bha" in Sanskrit, meaning "light," and "rata," to revel. Thus India is "the land that revels in the light of Eternal Wisdom."

I like your blog. Now that you and Anne-Marie both have blogs, I'll get blogs for Andrea and me in the near future.
With respect to the Father's Day special meal: Why don't you all surprise me or simply revert to the salmon on a plank, a good steak (if A-M will eat red meat), the shrimp dish you cooked last time we were in San Marcos. I prefer the surprise. You all can select the menu, including a good wine, and I'll foot the bill.
